This historic venue is ready for its next curtain call. The expansive Princess Theatre in downtown Southern Pines has been re-imagined into three separate spaces, each of which will house a small business.
ICYM Monday’s issue, the first confirmed tenant, DAHR Interior, will take the front left space. The right front space is still up for grabs, as is the former stage area, which now features the beginnings of a bar. Dare we say business in the front, party in the back? Yes, we dare. We hear mullets are cool again.
“I’m thankful for all the people who stopped by and gave us encouragement or shared stories about the place,” says owner Tom Gisler, who has spent years renovating the space alongside his wife, Lora. See inside.
