Let’s Go to Gown Town

Bells are ringing in Aberdeen because another bridal shop is filling its aisles. Roselaine Bridal & Co. will host its grand opening this Saturday. The shop is brought to you by Miranda Singer, whose dream has always been to open her own bridal boutique. “I want to help people find their dress. I love seeing people happy,” she says.

Miranda has been in the event industry since she was 16, as a caterer and then a wedding coordinator. Eventually, she pivoted and suited up for the police force. Although she is still a full-time police officer, she is trading sirens for silhouettes in her free time.

The shop will be open by appointment only with dresses ranging from ivory and nude to blush and even black from designers like Sophia Tolli, Justin Alexander and more. The best part? Most have pockets. She’ll also have bridal jumpsuits coming in. But her plans don’t end there, you can expect to see Mother of the Bride dresses, prom and tux rentals in the future.

Miranda’s goal is to keep the lines she carries in an affordable range, so you’ll be able to buy both off-the-rack and made-to-order dresses. A sample sale is happening July 10 but if you can’t veil your excitement, stop in for the grand opening from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 at 111 Knight St., Aberdeen.
