Say It Ain’t Sew
You may have noticed the DIY craft studio Hammer & Stain has been closed for a time, but don’t worry, it’s only temporary. The studio has a new owner, Suzanne Edwards, who says this venture is a dream come true. “I’m pinching myself that this is mine,” she says.

Suzanne has been crafting as long as she can remember and jumped at the opportunity when she saw the previous owner was selling. She plans to bring in more class variety, like candle making, glass art and chunky knitted blankets. She also plans to have designated date nights and theme nights. “Now I get to make more friends and give back to the community,” she says.
- The studio reopens Saturday, May 13. Stop in from 1-4 p.m. to say hi, get discounts and see what you can DIY next.
