Kick, Push, Kick, Push, Coast

He was a sk8r boi, she said see you later boi, I’m off to a new skate shop in town. Flowland owner and longtime skateboard enthusiast William Dean is rolling out a second shop in Southern Pines, an extension of his “counter-culture outlet” in Aberdeen.

Located on South Bennett Street, N2Flow carries boards, wheels, shirts and skate shoes. Two local board brands will also be represented.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because William owned N2Flow in the early 2000s before combining it with Flowland. Now it’s back and better than before, with a mini arcade stocked with retro games. “I wanted to have something for skaters to do on a rainy day too,” William says.

The shop is open noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every weekday except Tuesday, when it’s closed. Find it next to Two Timers, at 972-B South Bennett St.
