Coming to a Theater Near You

After an on-screen hiatus, movies are coming back to the Sunrise Theater five days a week. Executive director Kevin Dietzel says that because the moviegoing audience never fully bounced back after COVID, the Sunrise went from showing outdoor movies to the occasional weekend flick. Then, the theater renewed its focus on live performance.

“Within the last 6 months or so we got a lot of push from the community that they wanted movies back,” says Kevin. “Now we secured a rehearsal space. We’re excited we can strike a balance between live theater, the events people have come to know and love andmovies.” See what’s showing here.
