Designer Mary Furby is taking her Instagram-based floral design and event shop, Thistle & Moon, to its first brick-and-mortar.
“We already focus a lot of our energy on weddings and events, but this new space will allow us to build the daily shop part of our business,” Mary says. “This means deliveries, pick-ups, plants, gift items, and more workshops are coming to downtown Southern Pines in 2022.”
Mary is moving her shop into the former home of Piggy + Co., which will close up shop this month (more on that here). Mary plans to open Thistle & Moon in time for Valentine’s Day — aka a helluva first day for a florist.
