Friday
5-8:30 p.m.: Collect treats at downtown Southern Pines businesses, then join the parks and rec crew for games and crafts in the park. Lego Batman shows on the big screen at 7 p.m.
Saturday:
10 a.m.: Enjoy games, face painting, and trick-or-treating at Aloha Zoo. This also happens Sunday.
9 p.m. to midnight: Dress to impress for the Bell Tree Tavern’s annual Halloween party; or bring out your inner monster at Broad Street Bar and Grill, with the help of $1 Busch Light.
Sunday
Noon – 5 p.m.: Bring the kids to a Carthage farm for pony rides, mini golf, bounce houses, petting zoo, etc. etc. Admission is $3, and some of theattractions are priced separately.
3-4 p.m.: Walk Weymouth Woods in costume, and find treats along the way.
Tuesday
3-6 p.m.: Trick-or-Treat from plane to plane at the Moore County Airport. Pro tip: get there early, before the candy’s gone.
