Bonnie McPeake, who bought everyone’s favorite creepy downtown Southern Pines building last year, plans to build a 23,000-square-foot mixed use structure in the same style as the Belvedere Plaza. Plans have not been formally submitted, but Bonnie’s $2.5 million dream would offer restaurant, retail, apartment and office space.
McPeake — whose family owns several area hotels — is also invested in properties in downtown Aberdeen, which she hopes to eventually renovate and turn into apartments. Read more about Bonnie, her family and their local investments in this profile piece from The Pilot.
