With national brands that give back, plus items from local businesses, LIVwell — a new boutique inside Workhorse Fitness & Yoga — will help you dress for whatever gets your blood pumping.
Workhorse Fitness & Yoga has long had a small shop near the front desk; and when it was those sales that helped the Whispering Pines fitness hub pull through coronavirus shutdowns, owner Tiffany Fleeman was convinced to expand her retail offerings.
“I’m really grateful for where we are right now,” she says. “We have a really supportive community. I don’t know if a new gym would’ve survived in a different community during this year. I think our people really helped us through.”
Named for Tiffany’s daughter Oliva, LIVwell offers national brands like Born Primitive, which give back to nonprofits like the Navy SEAL Foundation, as well as items from local businesses like Cotton and Grain, Oak & Oliver and even moss ball terrariums — made by the shop’s namesake with the help of Modern Planter founder Courtney Eury.
Shop the store during Workhorse Fitness & Yoga’s hours, from 7:30-11 a.m. Mon-Fri; 5:30-8 p.m. Mon.-Thurs.; and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Follow the shop on Instagram here.
