The Southern Pines pottery shop has managed to find a home in just a few short weeks. In this market, that has to be a record.
New owner Jamie Perkins started looking for a new spot earlier this year (more on that here). Now she’s moving the shop to a suite at 2160 Midland Road, in the same building that houses Miidland Bistro.
9th of September’s original owner, Michelle Peele, spotted the vacancy and called Jamie immediately. “In less than a half an hour, I was in the space,” says Jamie. “It was incredible from the moment I walked in, and I knew it was the one.”
Jamie says much of the shop has already been moved — “people with trucks and trailers showed up to help” — and she plans to reopen for business next month. Watch for updates here.
