Cabin Fever Dream

Pinehurst Resort has unveiled the design for a new 26-room lodge and eight-bedroom cabin on its 900-acre Sandmines property off N.C. 5. We’re not saying designers took inspiration from the iconic resort that brought Johnny Castle and Frances Houseman together, but we are saying “Nobody puts birdie in the corner!”

The new accommodations will be available in 2027, with the cabin opening in summer and the lodge following by fall. Pinehurst No. 11, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, is also scheduled to open on the property in 2027. You’ll have the time of your life.
