A Pizza You Can’t Refuse

A Godfather’s Pizza is coming to Southern Pines in the former Petro’s Chili & Chips location. There’s no set timeline but franchise owner Angel Thompson says they are aiming for the beginning of April. Those who have been in the area for a while may remember a Godfather’s Pizza that closed 10 years ago — and nope, it’s not the same owners or the same location. “We just want people to give us an honest try,” says Angel.

This spot will have tables for dining and a drive-up window for to-go orders. Angel also owns a location in Rockingham, but is excited to expand in Moore County and even more excited to have the drive-up window. “Sometimes you just don’t want to get out of the car,” laughs Angel. The menu will feature pizza, calzones and wings and it will be open daily. Plan your first order here.
