Calling all Bounty Hunters

If you’ve been staking out this new restaurant in the Target shopping center (we heard you’ve been pulling on the doors), you can now collect your reward. Get it in the form of cocktails, micro brews, burgers, steaks, fried green tomato bites or a particularly Southern version of poutine made with sausage gravy. Bounty Farmhouse Kitchen & Tap opened today (Monday) for brunch, lunch and dinner at 377 Carolina Green Parkway.

This second location for Bounty is smaller than its flagship in Fayetteville, and has more space on its patio than inside the dining room. Folding glass doors can join the indoor and outdoor spaces together. There are around 80 seats now, but owner Chris Beal says they could bring in around 40 more as his team becomes more comfortable.

  • “Doing farm-to-table from scratch, there’s a lot of prep work involved, so it’s nice to start with something that’s a bit smaller,” Chris says. “We’re excited to have a smaller space, where we can really focus on our hospitality.”

Chris’ company, Tribeca Hospitality, also operates Tribeca Tavern in Cary and WCC Café in Morrisville. Chris operates Chatham Meat Company, a butcher shop with locations in Sanford and Siler City that supplies meat from small farms to the group’s restaurants. Bounty’s own beer brand is brewed at its Fayetteville location (the former home of Mash House Brewing Company).

“We want to be vertically integrated, understand where everything comes from, and continue to expand what we can do for farmers in central North Carolina,” Chris told The Sway back in December. To see hours and menus or place an order for pickup, visit the website.
