Tuesday, May 5: El Patron Tacos & Tequila is making their celebration grande, per usual. Enjoy food and drink specials, decorations, giveaways and a DJ from 5 p.m. to midnight. For added fun, they’re bringing back a mechanical bull in the parking lot starting at 4 p.m. Chip, chip, hooray.

- Órale Taco Bar: Enjoy margarita specials and $2 Mexican beers. DJ Joshua will be pumping the tunes from 5-9 p.m. Fun.
- San Felipe: They’re serving up specials now through May 5. Arriba!
- Casa Santa Ana: Both the Pinehurst and Seven Lakes locations are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with mariachi bands from 5-8 p.m. Gauc and roll.
- La Poblanita: Get tacos for $1.99 each, as well as $4.99 margarita and beer specials. Uno mas.
- Engine Room ’87: Get tickets for the Cinco de Mayo train, where you’ll enjoy self-pour taps of cerveza, margs and unlimited chips and salsa.It’s ale good.
- Santo Pecado Pinehurst: Feast on food and drink specials all day like mango shot flights, margaritas, enchiladas and more. It’s about lime.
- Poplar Place: Because it’s a special event, Poplar Place is open on a Tuesday with tequila tastings, piñatas and drink specials. May the 5th be with you.
- 8 Shots Cantina: If you like your dinner with a show, enjoy mariachi bands from 2-9 p.m. Plus, savor margarita specials. Spice things up.
- Bell Tree Tavern: A special steak cajun quesadilla is on the menu in addition to drink specials. In queso you didn’t know.
- Red’s Corner: Bring your taste buds to a food truck battle: taco edition. Cost is $25, you’ll sample and vote on tacos, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Taco ’bout a good time.
