If we hadn’t all witnessed the humble QR code make its comeback, you probably wouldn’t believe that they are going to be displayed on bronze plaques in the town of Carthage. The convention and visitors bureau plans to install plaques on existing murals, one of which already includes a QR code in its design. A quick scan of the code will take visitors to a video explaining the history of the artwork. Just imagine how this will look to whatever generation comes after Z, who will just have to blink twice to hit play.
