The Process:
Free Initial Consultation: They get to know your vision and goals for the project. In some cases, Retriever can even provide a, heh, ruff cost range based on similar projects they’ve completed, offering a sneak peek into what the project might entail.
Finding the Perfect Fit: If both you and the contractor agree you’re a good match for the project, you’ll sign a Project Planning Agreement to get the ball rolling.
Planning Phase: For a small design-build planning fee (based on the project’s estimated starting range), they’ll create custom plans and blueprints that are tailored to your needs. Along with the blueprints, they’ll provide a detailed scope of work and a much more accurate estimate than a simple free quote. This is where it all starts to come together.
Construction Agreement: Once everything is set and ready to go, you’ll sign a Construction Agreement. By this point, there will be specific allowances for custom selections, so you’ll know exactly how much to budget.
