Brace yourselves — Summer is coming. Lucky for you, we’ve put together this handy list of ways to keep your adorable little monsters occupied. Click the headlines for more information.
The O’Neal School holds camps from June 4 to Aug. 3. Weekly pricing for half day camps range from $100 to $150; full day camps range from $199-$250. After Camp Care is offered for an additional fee from 3-6 p.m.
You’ll flip for the options offered at a place that is designed for active kids! They offer three options that start on June 6 and go until the week of Aug. 12 :
:: Skill camps: Gymnastics camps for gymnasts to help them improve their skill levels. Girls ages 5 to 12 can participate through 15 hours of dedicated practice. The camp is offered Monday through Friday from 9-12 and is $99.
:: Summer Fun Camps: for those that need a place for their active kids to burn their energy out on a variety of fun thematic camps. Fun Camps are offered 9-12 for $99 a week or 2:30-5pm. There is lunch bunch, early drop, and daily rates as well.
:: Preschool Fun Camp: a great place for your preschooler to play! These thematic camps run Monday- Friday from 9-12 for $99 a week and offer early/late drop options and lunch bunch.
Youth Summer Enrichment: June-August
Older kids will learn to fly a drone through an obstacle course, stretch it out in acro yoga; explore careers in public safety; and get a full week of STEAM education, from creating 3D video games to learning tricks in the kitchen via culinary arts. Ages range from 8 to 14, and sports camps are available for younger kids.
Enroll your active kids in half-day camps at the FirstHealth Center for Health and Fitness, where they’ll enjoy swimming, crafts, games and more. Camps run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m for ages 4 to 12. The cost is $47 per week for residents, $70 per week for non-residents.
July 8-12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Rising 1st through 8th graders will enjoy games, songs, crafts and Bible study led by experienced counselors from Agape Kure Beach Ministries. A separate pre-k camp will be offered from 9-1. You’ll get $30 off if you register before April 30. Information on theme and pricing here.

Union Pines High School Summer Camps: Throughout June
Sports camps for elementary, middle and high-school kids. $60 – $105.
Moore County 4-H Summer Camps & Programs: June – August
Camps, workshops, field trips and hands-on activities. Week-long, full and half-day options. Ages 5-18. Cost ranges from $15-$350.
Chippers Golf Camps: June – August
Taught by LPGA teaching pro Charlaine Hirst. Full- and half-day camps for ages 7-17. $195 for half-day camp, $295 for full-day camp.
First Tee of the Sandhills: June- August
A variety of golf camps are available for ages 5- senior in high school. Locations, programs, and pricing varies.
Shine on Sports Summer Lacrosse Camp: July 23 – 26
Hands-on coaching for girls of all skill levels from 9 to noon. Open to rising first-ninth graders. $60 to $125 depending on camp.
Village of Pinehurst Full Day Camps: June – August
Each week has a new theme at this popular camp at West Pine Middle. Price varies depending on session. Ages 5-12.
Carolina Performing Arts Center Summer Dance Camps: June or August
Ages 2-12. Costs and times vary based on age. $75 – $225.
Knollwood Fairways Junior Golf Camps: June and July
Instruction, competition and on-course play make for an all-inclusive golf camp. Lunch is included, ages 9-15. $169 per session.
Preschool camp offered for kids ages 3-5, Monday-Thursday 8:30-11:30, $125. Email for registration information.
National Athletic Village Summer Camps: June-August
Play all the sports. All of them. Full- and half-day options available. Ages 3-14. Cost varies depending on session; sibling discounts offered.
Pinecrest Basketball Camp: June 10-14
Kids grades K-8 can develop a strong foundation in basketball. $75 includes a basketball and a t-shirt.
Southern Pines Parks and Rec Camps: June-August
Camps range from ages 3 and up. Cost varies depending on camp and residency. Call before you register, because many camps are already full.
Wine & Design Art Buzz Kids Painting Camps: June and July
Visit the Facebook events for summer camp listings. Weeklong sessions for ages 6-12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. $200.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sandhills: June 17 to August 9
Full-day summer camps for rising first through 12th graders. Time runs from 7:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. $135 for one child, with sibling discounts.
Sunrise Theater Summer Camps: July 8 to August 9
Camps for rising first through fifth graders. From 9-noon, culminating in on-stage performances. $150.
U.S. Kids Summer Camp: All summer long
Golf camps at Longleaf Golf and Family Club in Southern Pines go from 9 a.m. to noon, for $175.
Ages 3-10, from 9-11 a.m. from Monday- Friday. $125
Muddy Creek Farm Riding Center: July-August
