Travel The Golf Coast
Double Eagle Indoor Golf Lounge, which we first wrote about in July, opens in Southern Pines this Saturday, Oct. 28. Golfers (and non-golfers) can take a swing at 250 different courses from places around the world or golf games on a virtual screen. Bring your fam, practice with a PGA pro or have a night out with friends.
Rent a bay for $60 an hour that can accommodate up to eight people (six is recommended for speed). “There aren’t a lot of nighttime activities here,” says manager Jason Aslanian. “It’s a new form of entertainment in town … you don’t have to worry about losing the ball here.”
There’s a full bar and snacks, and a menu of preferred partners you can order to-go meals from and eat while you play. “We are trying to support as local as possible, so most of what’s on draft is from local breweries,” says co-owner Barbara Powell.
You can also take advantage of the private lounge area and the TVs which will play things like Monday Night Football. Co-owner Cory White says he is excited to get different clubs in the area together “and see who’s the best in town.”
- Book online or walk in starting Saturday. The hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Hours could adjust in the future.
