Local moms Laura Peña, left, and Robin Braeckel are opening a My Gym, a kids-only gym and fitness franchise. My Gym will be located on the left side of the building that also houses Forte Fitness.
Robin is an Army veteran who served 14 years in the Signal Branch and spent two years in Space Operations. Laura is a former performer for the Walt Disney World Company. This dream team connected as military wives, over a mutual love for the area. They plan to make the local location of the kids-only gym a reality in the coming months.
Expect classes for kids up to 10 years old that combine elements of dance, gymnastics and athletic challenges in a gym layout that changes each week.
