6 Medjool Dates
6 tsp Peanut Butter (or almond butter, sunflower seed butter, tahini – any nut or seed butter of your choice)
Optional Toppings (see note below for ideas)
1. Carefully remove the pits from the dates. Be careful to keep one side of the date intact. You want to add a slit to hold the peanut butter rather than splitting the date in half.
2. Add a tsp of peanut butter to each date.
3. Add toppings if desired. You can eat them as they are or add toppings of your choice; a sprinkle of cinnamon, cocoa powder, crushed nuts, coconut, pomegranate seeds, sesame seeds or drizzled chocolate.
