Here’s your guide to local spots that are open with dine-in / take-out availability Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so you can worry about all the other things you didn’t get to yet… like wrapping presents.
Open Christmas Eve:
Olive Garden: Forget the milk and cookies, leave breadsticks out for Santa. Open for dine-in or take-out until 8 p.m.
Zayka Indian Cusine: O Holy Naan! Zayka is open regular hours.
Dugan’s Pub: Comfort and joy is a plate of fish and chips. Dugan’s is open Noon- 8 p.m.
The Deuce: A seat overlooking the 18th hole of Pinehurst No. 2 is a gift for the eyes. Taterman Tots are a gift for the rest of your senses. Open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drum & Quill: Open 11 a.m to 7 p.m for dining but the bar will keep you holly and jolly until 11 p.m.
El Patron Tacos & Tequila: Before tucking yourself in for Santa’s arrival, tuck into a burrito wrapped up all snuggly and warm. El Patron is open regular hours.
The Leadmine: Open regular hours to make your spirits bright.
Time Out Sports Grill: Ho! Ho! Hold up! Time Out Sports Grill is open until Midnight.
The Sly Fox: Shepherd’s pie is just what our stretchy pants ordered for Christmas, open from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Santa is making an appearance too.
Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante: Let it snow parmesan on your order of lobster ravioli. Open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Hennings Taste of India: Need to tikka break? Masala la la la your way to Hennings Taste of India. Open regular hours.
The Wine Cellar: Drink up, Grinches. Open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Roast Office: Run like Rudolph with a coffee kickstart from The Roast Office. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Amor Ciego: If you’re elfing tired, but still have a latte to do, Amor Ciego is open from 6:30 a.m. to noon.
Southern Pines Growler Company: Nothing pairs with getting the kids to bed early like your favorite growler and staying up late to see Santa’s reinbeers. Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Neko Thai and Sushi: Thai one under the tree with this menu. Open regular hours.
China Garden Buffet: All we want for Christmas is chopsticks so we can eat unlimited Chinese food. Open regular hours.
House of Fish: Don’t tell Rudolph but we hear the elves prefer seafood to candy. Open regular hours.
