If you’ve been to Lowe’s Foods in Southern Pines recently, you’ve likely seen the sign for a new ramen bar coming soon. Shinji Ramen & Roll, brought to you by the owners of Neko Thai & Shushi in Pinehurst, is set to open this month.
Here’s what we know: Owner Neti Promkhotwong wants the restaurant to have a modern, big-city feel, and says “it won’t be like anything else around here.” There will be six to eight different kinds of ramen and a limited amount of sushi rolls. The restaurant wasn’t ready for its close-up when we stopped by this week, so stay tuned to devour more details.
