After months of work in the space on the corner of Bennett Street and West Pennsylvania Ave. in Southern Pines — and multiple delays due to COVID — Southern Pines Brewing on Penn is open.
SPBC owner Micah Niebauer signed the lease in May. On Wednesday, he opened up the building’s new sliding glass windows and fired up the outdoor heaters on the extended patio for the first time.
Thirty taps will rotate between the brewery’s flagship beer and the 100 small batches created each year.
“This is the place to come try the full depth of our brewery,” Micah says. “We have it all here.”
Pull up a stool at Southern Pines Brewing on Penn from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. And don’t worry about losing your seat while you order another round, because the new spot includes table service.
