What Ghosts Around, Comes Around
The Southern Pines Public Library is spreading good juju this spooky season by hosting its first boo-tique. Anyone from the community can “shop” costumes and accessories for free. “As a library, we connect people with resources. This is just another opportunity to connect people to a different resource. In this case, it’s costumes,” says librarian Mary Howard. “We just love Halloween too.”
“We know that people can’t always afford to buy something new every year and a lot of kids grow out of things so quickly or don’t want to be the same thing,” says librarian Katie Broughey. The boo-tique will be open to all ages from toddlers to adults – they even have a few dog costumes.
