Ten-Ya announced a COVID closure last December, but new owners have now taken over the space at 70 Market Square in Pinehurst and opened Neko, a Thai and sushi bar. Neko opened just one week ago and according to owner Neti Promkhotwong, offers sushi, Thai food, and “a little bit of traditional Japanese cuisine.”
Neko is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11:30-9:30 p.m. Friday; noon to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. See the menu and order takeout online.
