Deleting Your Cookies?

We’ll take them off your hands. ‘Tis the time of year to enter them into The Sway’s Cookie Contest, aka our thinly-veiled ploy to (literally) grow our heart three sizes each season. Pay attention to the rules, dough:

1. Don’t poison us.
2. Drop off at least five cookies with the recipe, name of the baker and the baker’s contact info to 145 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Southern Pines, between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, now through Dec. 12.
3. Cookies will be judged on presentation, flavor, texture and originality. The winner will be announced in our issue on Dec. 18.
4. The top three recipes will be published on The Sway’s website after the conclusion of the contest. Get a glimpse at last year’s winners.  

The winner gets bragging rights and $100 to spend on items made locally and across NC at Against the Grain Shoppe in downtown Southern Pines.
