We told you last Thursday that the opening date for Tropical Smoothie Cafe was “coming soon” according to signage on the windows, and apparently “soon” meant the next day. The smoothie shop opened its doors last Friday morning at 10725 U.S. 15-501 Suite B.
Cristian Silva, the manager at Tropical Smoothie in Apex, is spending time training the staff at the new location. When asked about the delay, Cristian says an error with the location’s Google listing is to blame for saying the shop would open June 4 instead of mid-July.
“It seems like we’re way past due, but there actually wasn’t a huge holdup. But, I know our owner is super thrilled to be in this location,” Cristian says. “The cafe itself has one of the best layout of all of his locations, and we’re really excited to serve the pines.”
You can try one of 20+ smoothies, sandwiches, wraps or supplements on the menu from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. You’ll have to go inside to order for now, but Cristian says they’ll be rolling out a curbside ordering system in the next couple of weeks. Anyway, here’s the full menu.
