Well Then Get Ready for the 40th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes.
A $20 ticket gets you access to six area residences — from the circa-1800s Carriage House in Pinehurst, above, to a new build in Walker Station, and a 1924-era Southern Pines cottage with lighting made from restored navigational beacons.
The self-led tour is from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10. You’ll be treated to music by local artists along the way, and in the last hour, all the homes will be lit by candlelight. Put it on your calendar here.
