THE 100% CONFIRMED: IHOP. That’s International House of Pancakes, i.e. your spot for 3,500 calories on a Sunday morning. Many restaurants in this chain are open 24/7, but we couldn’t confirm if this location would be one of them.We do know that it’s set to open in September.
THE 98.7% CONFIRMED: PANERA BREAD. Official press contacts all told us the same thing: Can neither confirm nor deny. But a certain unnamed employee has been spotted on Facebook confirming that the restaurant is moving to the site of the old Four Oaks Bank, where they will have a drive-thru.
THE 95% CONFIRMED: FIVE GUYS. The chain’s press contacts confirmed long-standing rumors of the new restaurant over the phone, but said they weren’t ready to send official word in writing.
