Class is out, but we’ve all been taken to school — and some of you have enrolled in DIY extracurriculars. We asked you to share your quarantine projects, and you delivered. Here’s some of the homework you turned in.

Trish Baldwin held up shop class for Reece, 11, on this addition that made her porch sweet porch complete.

Painter Lindsey Lindquist turned her bar into an intentional art installation. And, you know, an unintentional balance beam.

Woodworker Mollie Tobias turned walnut, resin, sweet gum and curly maple into a jointer’s mallet that would make Lumberjack Thor proud.

Kelly M. kept the peace by keeping her husband busy in the backyard garden, complete with an underground, plant-specific irrigation system.

Monica R. found time to take her three (soon to be four) bathrooms from builder grade to glorious. Take notes, Chip and Joanna.

Becca Leen took her backyard from a wasteland …

… to an oasis.

All of you get a DIY gold star. Meanwhile, we put on real pants today — OK, real yoga pants. Only psychos wear jeans during quarantine.
