Feeling peachy? Fun events like a food truck battle, 5k fun run, scavenger hunt for glass peaches and more are ripe and ready for the picking. The tourism authority for Moore County — Visit Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen — is pulling out all the (pit) stops for yet another Peach Week, an expansion of the annual N.C. Peach Festival in nearby Candor. Here’s what’s happening from July 18-26, 2026:

Sample a Sweet (and Savory) Competition

This jam-packed week features mouthwatering dishes from more than 30 restaurants, food trucks and specialty shops. Try a peach-inspired meal or creative cocktail, then vote for your favorites.

Peach cobbler from Drum & Quill, Railhouse Brewery’s Peach Wheat, Table on the Green’s peach BLT

The competition includes breakfast entrees, salads and apps, main courses and desserts. Download a complete list of participating businesses and vote for your favorite online.

Attend Peachy Keen Events

From trolley tours to farmers markets, Sandhills Bogeys baseball, a 5k Fun Run at FirstHealth Fitness, a Peachapalooza Festival at James Creek Cider House and a Peachgrass Festival at the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities, it is a week filled with passion for peaches.

Download a complete list of events and, most importantly, a list of local peach growers here.

Hunt for a Glass Peach

The Peach Pathways Program also returns this year. Similar to the enormously popular Pinecone Pathways Program held each spring, 20 glass peaches handmade by glassmakers at Starworks in Star, N.C. will be hidden along Moore County trails on designated days.

Keep the peach you find and register it online for a chance to win a prize, two tickets to the Peachgrass Festival at The Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities on July 25. Keep an eye on Facebook for announcements about the trails you should hunt.

Grab a ‘Pick Your Peach’ Card

When you visit any Peach Week participating location, you’ll get a special card that you can get stamped with any purchase.

Once stamps have been earned from five different participating Peach Week establishments, simply return the fully-stamped card to the Visit Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen offices or a number of drop boxes in Moore County. You’ll be entered in a drawing to win a $250 gift card to any Peach Week restaurant location. See drop box locations and rules here.
