Hazel + Grace Rentals is an Aberdeen-based company started by Karra Ussery and Kimmi Downing (above), two friends who were tired of spending hundreds of dollars on a dress that would help them look fabulous exactly one time. The pair have been accumulating clothing since July, and have now opened their doors with 85+ dresses that rent for $20-$40 per event.
“Our prices are so low because we’re not really looking for this to take over our lives,” Karra says. “We just want to be of service to the community, because we know what it’s like to be constantly looking for a dress that you’ll wear once.” So it’s settled then.
